Role Overview

We are seeking a highly competent Experienced HR Lead to join our fast-paced, high-performing environment. In this dual-capacity role, you will oversee our internal human capital while driving HR business development and consulting services for our external clients.

Note: This position offers a direct transition pathway to an HR Manager/Consultant role upon confirmation for a candidate willing to demonstrate exceptional leadership, drive, and strategic value.

• Department: Human Resources & Administration
• Location: Lagos, Nigeria (Ideal candidate should reside within or around the Lekki axis)
• Work Schedule: Hybrid | Mondays – Saturdays (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Reporting To: Human Resource Manager
• Supervises: HR Team
• Remuneration: NGN 300,000 – NGN 400,000 (commensurate with experience and qualifications) exclusive of bonuses and commissions.

Core Responsibilities

1. Internal HR Administration & Operations

• Manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, documentation, and entry/exit management.
• Maintain comprehensive administrative systems, ensuring accurate record-keeping and background checks.
• Oversee payroll management, shift allocations, attendance, and disciplinary protocols.
• Attend to staff welfare, address grievances, and proactively respond to HR inquiries.

2. Strategic HR & Talent Management

• Design, review, and track company-wide and individual KPIs to ensure optimal performance.
• Lead performance appraisals, staff audits, and talent development initiatives.
• Draft, review, and enforce HR documentation, including the Staff Handbook and Policy Manuals.
• Champion the company culture, ensuring compliance with organizational practices and industry regulations.
• Establish and manage the company’s internal mentorship, coaching, and internship systems.

3. HR Consulting & Client Management

• Provide expert HR consulting and business development services for external clients on a project basis.
• Drive customer relationship management, cross-selling, and upselling of Coinbox HR services.
• Serve as a Training Officer and Coordinator for internal and external capacity-building programs.
• Act as Coordinator for the Coinbox Academy, QA Officer for L&D partnerships, and Product Officer for our e-learning platforms.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree (Minimum 2nd Class Upper / 2:1) in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: 3–5 years of proven experience as a HR lead, experienced HR Officer, preferably in a generalist or consulting capacity.
• Professional Certification: Relevant HR certifications (e.g., PHRi, GPHR, SHRM, CIPM) are a strong advantage.
• Age Requirement: 25 – 45 years.
• Availability: Must be ready to resume immediately.
