Job Summary:
The Learning and Development Officer is responsible for identifying training needs, designing and delivering training programs, and supporting employee development initiatives across the organization. This role ensures that staff have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively and contribute to organizational success. This role is for both internal functions and customer facing (online & physical).
Key Responsibilities:

- Assess organizational and individual learning needs through job analysis, performance appraisals, and regular consultation with managers.
- Identify gaps in skills and develop strategies to address them.
- Design, develop, and implement training programs (in-person, virtual, or hybrid) aligned with business goals.
- Facilitate internal and external training sessions, workshops, and onboarding programs.
- Source and manage external training facilitators when needed.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
- Report training outcomes to senior leadership and recommend improvements.
- Support the development of a learning culture within the organization.
- Help implement long-term learning and development strategies, including leadership development, succession planning, and career development paths.
- Maintain accurate training records, calendars, and learning management systems (LMS).
- Manage the company LMS system
- Setup and manage customer LMS systems
- Prepare and manage company training calendar
- Manage company training portals
- Prepare training materials, guides, and manuals as required.
- Source training clients and manage existing ones
- Proficiency in preparation of proposals and contract bidding
Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Education, Psychology, or a related field.
- HR certification like CIPM, SHRM, etc.
- Certification in Learning & Development or Training (e.g. NITAD, IAF, etc.) is an advantage.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in HR role
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a training or L&D role.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Proficiency with MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Strong tech and social media skills
- Analytical mindset with experience in measuring training effectiveness.
- Digital marketing and social media management skills
- Knowledge of graphics software
